• The Eurasian Curlew is one of the highest bird conservation priorities in Wales, and its rapid and ongoing decline means it is now threatened with extinction as a Welsh breeding bird in the next two decades. Find out more about Curlews and their conservation.

• We have therefore launched a Wales Action Plan for the Recovery of Curlew, which includes details of new 'Important Curlew Areas' that will provide a focus for our future activities. View a summary of the Action Plan and details of the Important Curlew Areas.​

• The Curlew Wales Blog will include topical contributions about Curlews and their conservation in Wales and elsewhere; these include a note the Gylfinir Cymru workshop held in December 2022 on predator control and also the Review of the wider societal, biodiversity and ecosystem benefits of curlew recovery in Wales.
