This May, we’re delighted to work with one of Leith’s newest attractions, Port of Leith Distillery, to offer Edinburgh residents an experience focused on Scotland’s national drink, whisky.

As well as the distilling area, this incredible building houses a tasting floor, shop, reception and private dining rooms. The incredible double-height bar on the 8^th and 9^th levels offers commanding views across Edinburgh and the Firth of Forth.

Throughout May 2024, city of Edinburgh residents can find out more about this unique building and the distilling process with 25% discount on the Port of Leith Tour & Tasting.

A lot of time has gone into making the Port of Leith Tour & Tasting as special as possible. Over the course of 90 minutes, visitors will hear the story of the company’s unlikely inception and explore the world’s tallest distillery. Fill your own miniature bottle of their new make spirit and taste their new make spirits, port, sherry and guest whisky.

Port of Leith Distillery is well served by public transport. Both Lothian Buses services 10, 34, 35, 36 and 200 and Edinburgh Trams run regularly from the city centre to Ocean Terminal. It is then a short walk to the distillery.

Lift access (with hearing loops) is available throughout the building. Seating is available on each level should it be required. Accessible toilets are located on Levels 5, 7 and 9.

Port of Leith Distillery is a working distillery set out vertically over 9 floors. Caution is advised visiting the distillery if you suffer from a heart condition, high blood pressure or any balance impairment.

As there are plated walkways throughout, it is advisable to wear sensible footwear. High heels, cleated cycling shoes or open toe shoes are not permitted whilst on the tour.
